Multifactor Authentication for CM/ECF and PACER: Starting May 11, 2025, the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts (AO) is adding multifactor authentication (MFA) to enhance system security for CM/ECF and PACER. All CM/ECF users will be required to enroll in MFA and are encouraged to do so at their earliest convenience.  CM/ECF users who do not voluntarily enroll will be randomly selected to enroll starting in August. By the end of 2025, everyone with CM/ECF access will be required to use MFA when logging in. Please review the posting on the PACER website for more details. If you are using automated software with your account, please ensure your vendor is aware of this change.  https://pacer.uscourts.gov/announcements/2025/05/02/multifactor-authentication-coming-soon

Keep in mind that all access to CM/ECF is managed though the PACER service center.  We have no ability to provide access, reset passwords, or enroll people in MFA for PAMB’s CM/ECF.
