Filing User

To determine whether another party or party’s attorney is a Filing User the filer can select the System’s “Utilities” category, and then click on “Mailings,” then click on “Mailing Information for a Case.” The filer then enters the case number and clicks on “Submit” and the System information will appear, stating whether or not the filer must mail a copy or if the System will electronically generate one. The United States Trustee and all chapter 7 and 13 trustees are Filing Users, even though they are not listed in this System option.
