Electronic Filing Steps

 

STEP 1   Click on Bankruptcy on the CM/ECF Menu Bar or place the mouse on Bankruptcy on the CM/ECF Menu Bar to receive the cascading menu selections.

STEP 2   For Attorney filers, select Miscellaneous menu
                For Trustee filers, select the appropriate Trustee - Ch. menu
                For US Trustee filers, select US Trustee menu

STEP 3   The Case Number screen displays.  Enter the correct case number, including the  hyphen (YY-YYYYY).  Click on Find this case or Click [Next]

STEP 4   Click in the drop down box or type in the blank box above the Available Events to find Certificate of Service.  Click [Next]

STEP 5   Select the party at the Select the party screen,create/ add if not already on the case.  Complete the Party Information screen, change the Role type, Click [Next]

STEP 6   The atty/party association screen displays. Check the box to create the link between you and the party who you represent.  This is very important because the link must be established in order to receive E-Mail notifications.  Click [Next]

STEP 7   The PDF Attachment Selection screen displays

                Click [Next]

STEP 8   Select the category to which your event relates, Click [Next]

STEP 9   Select the appropriate event(s) to which your event relates by clicking with the mouse by the appropriate event.  Click [Next]

STEP 10   The Modify as Appropriate screen displays, Click [Next]

STEP 11   The Final Text screen displays

STEP 12   The Notice of Electronic Filing displays
