Attaching a PDF File
REMINDER: Make sure you flatten your PDF file before attaching/uploading it into CM/ECF.
Attaching a PDF File
- 
		The PDF Document Selection Screen
		
- Click [Browse] and change the File Type to All Files (*.*). Navigate to the directory where the appropriate PDF File is located and highlight it with your mouse.
 - To make certain you are associating the correct PDF file for this entry, opposite-click (right-click) on the filename with your mouse and select Open.
 - This will display the contents of the document. Verify the document is correct.
 - Close the application and if it is the correct file, click Open on the File Upload dialog box.
 - 
				The path and name of the selected PDF file is placed in the Filename box.
 
 - 
		Including ADDITIONAL PDF attachments (ex. Proposed Order, Notice, Certificate of Service, Exhibits, Affidavit, Proposed Distribution Schedule, etc.).
		
- At Attachment of Document, click the radio button for Yes.
 - Click [Next].
 - Click [Browse] and change the File Type to All Files (*.*).
 - Navigate to the directory where the appropriate PDF File is located and highlight it with you mouse.
 - To make certain you are associating the correct PDF file for this entry, opposite-click (right-click) on the filename with your mouse and select Open.
 - This will display the contents of the document. Verify that the document is correct.
 - Close the application and if it is the correct file, click Open on the File Upload dialog box
 - The path and filename of the selected PDF file is placed in the Filename box.
 - Either select a predefined Category which describes the PDF or type in a Description of the PDF.
 - Click [Add to List].
 - Repeat this Step until all PDF documents have been attached.
 - Click [Next] and continue filing.
