BARRED DEBTORS

Overview:
 

Debtors may be barred from filing bankruptcy for a variety of reasons.  The length of time they are barred from filing, and the place where they may be barred from filing, vary depending on the circumstances.  The U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania uses the National Registry of Barred Filers to report and research barred debtors.
