MOTION TO SET CLAIMS BAR DATE
(Ch. 11)

Overview:

The court shall fix and for cause shown may extend the time within which proofs of claim or interest may be filed. Under Local Rule 3003-1(a), a party requesting the court to set a date within which claims must be filed must provide notice of the bar date and a form of proof of claim to all creditors.
 

This filing should be accompanied by the Motion and Proposed Order.  When required by Local Bankruptcy Rule 9013-3, a Certificate of Service must also be filed.
