Reasonable Accommodations for Individuals with Communications Disabilities
It is the policy of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court of the Middle District of Pennsylvania (the “Court”) to provide reasonable accommodations to participants in court proceedings who have communicative disabilities. Participants in court proceedings include parties in the case, attorneys, and witnesses. Reasonable accommodations to participants in federal court proceedings include sign language interpreters and other appropriate auxiliary aids to all deaf, hearing impaired, or participants having other communications disabilities.
Individuals seeking assistance should contact the Court’s Access Coordinator, D. Troy Sellars, at least two weeks in advance of the scheduled court proceeding(s), to allow for the review of the request and arrangement of appropriate accommodations.
