OVERVIEW:
In an individual Chapter 11 case, plan confirmation does not discharge any debt provided for in the plan until the court grants a discharge upon completion of all payments under the plan. Thus, to seek a discharge, an individual debtor must file a motion for discharge.

This filing should be accompanied by the Motion, Notice of Motion, and a Proposed Order.  When required by Local Bankruptcy Rule 9013-3, a Certificate of Service must also be filed.

For order format, please see Proposed Orders.
