Request to Use the Electronic Evidence Presentation System

The United States Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania has evidence presentation systems in the Harrisburg and Wilkes-Barre courtrooms. The systems allow for the display of evidence on various monitors and TVs located throughout the courtroom.  Attorneys must be trained on the use of the equipment at least 5 business days prior to the hearing and must arrive 30 minutes before the hearing to test connectivity.  The equipment available varies by courtroom.

Harrisburg Ability to connect a laptop using a VGA or HDMI input.  If other inputs are required, please provide the details in your request.  The Court also can provide an internet connected laptop with a PDF viewer and the MS Office suite of applications.
Wilkes-Barre Ability to connect a laptop using a VGA or HDMI input.  If other inputs are required, please provide the details in your request.  The Court also can provide an internet connected laptop with a PDF viewer and the MS Office suite of applications.  In addition, this courtroom has a document camera and the ability for the presenting party or witness to annotate the evidence that is on-screen.

 

Both courtrooms will utilize a cloud-based file sharing service to permit upload of exhibits before the hearing.  The exhibits must be in PDF format and the files named as follows:    "Party's role - Exhibit number - Exhibit Description"    e.g. "Debtor-Exhibit1-Residential Lease Agreement"   You must separately from this service, share all exhibits with opposing counsel 5 days prior to the hearing.
